Suggestion Box:  A suggestion box has been placed on the bookshelf outside of Judy’s office. Please feel free to fill out a card with any suggestions you have for changes to our programs, services, etc. We’d love to receive your input.    Cards can be dropped off in Judy’s inbox or slipped under Judy’s office door. 

Financial Secretary:  We are looking to fill the position of Financial Secretary commencing January 2026. Please contact Cliff Blumhagen at 403-936-0419 or financialsecretary@oursaviourchurch.ca for details.

Volunteer Opportunities:  LCOS needs volunteers to fill some important roles. Examples of some of the help that is needed includes preparing coffee on Sunday mornings, ushering, assisting with communion, providing rides to worship, visiting shut-ins, altar care assistance, preparing worship slides, and more. If you are able to volunteer on a regular basis or just occasionally in any of these areas please contact Judy.

Pastoral Care:  Please direct requests to Judy at  office2@oursaviourchurch.ca and arrangements will be made to put you in touch with a pastor.

Library:  If you haven’t had a chance to check out the Library please do. It has been tidied up and reorganized, ready for everyone to enjoy the many books available.

Knit-Chat Stitching Group:  This is an invitation to any knitters or crocheters to join us on Thursdays at 10:00 am in the Fireside Room.  Everyone is welcome.

Discovery Bible Study:  Our Discovery Bible Study will begin on Thursday, October 2 at 7:00 pm, led by Bob Montgomery. Please direct questions to office2@oursaviourchurch.ca or mtnind@telusplanet.net.

Hope Lutheran Church:  Invites you to their Fall Fair on Saturday, October 18th from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm at 3527 Boulton Road NW. Enjoy fall preserves, baking, woodworking items, handmade cards and more.

Annual Altar Care Meeting:  Everyone is welcome to attend the Annual Altar Care Meeting on Tuesday, October 28 at 7:00 pm in the Fireside Room. Snacks will be provided. Contact Karen Smith or Marg Hall for details.

Christ Moravian Church:  Invites you to enjoy an evening of music with Marty Antonini on Saturday evening, October 18 at 7:00 pm.  Tickets are $20.

Lutheran Hospital Ministries Fall Training:  Do you want to learn skills that will help you visit or assist you in  caregiving?  Lutheran Hospital Ministries Fall Training Session will take place over 3 Saturdays; Oct 25th, Nov 1st and Nov 8th.  Please contact Rev. Mark Rekken at 587-228-2597 or the office at 403-264-4045 to find out more information or to attend the sessions.

Feed the Hungry:  Email office2@oursaviourchurch.ca if you are interested in continuing to volunteer with, or would like to know more about, our Feed the Hungry Ministry. A suggestion was made that those interested could meet following worship one Sunday to discuss how we move forward.
