Suggestion Box:  A suggestion box has been placed on the bookshelf outside of Judy’s office. Please feel free to fill out  a card with any suggestions you have for changes to our programs, services, etc. We’d love to receive your input. Cards can be dropped off in Judy’s inbox or slipped under Judy’s office door. 

Financial Secretary:  We are looking to fill the position of Financial Secretary commencing January 2026. Please contact Cliff Blumhagen at 403-936-0419 or financialsecretary@oursaviourchurch.ca for details.

Volunteer Opportunities:  LCOS needs volunteers to fill some important roles. Examples of some of the help that is needed includes preparing coffee on Sunday mornings, ushering, assisting with communion, providing rides to worship, visiting shut-ins, altar care assistance, preparing worship slides, and more. If you are able to volunteer on a regular basis or just occasionally in any of these areas please contact Judy.

Taizé Prayer Evenings:  St. Laurence Anglican Church in Lakeview is offering a series of Taizé prayer evenings in the year ahead.  The first service will be held on Sunday evening, September 21st, at 7:30 p.m. The Theme is Let All Who Are Thirsty Come. If you are feeling your life could use a bit more reverence, silence, contemplation, song - this evening is for you.  ALL are welcome to join in this hour of chant prayer and silence. Fall Carnival Silent Baking Auction:  Calling all bakers! Again this year we invite you to donate baking to our Fall Carnival Silent Baking Auction. Let the bidding begin...

Acadia Food Pantry:  The Acadia Food Pantry, operating out of McDougall United Church, provides much needed food to members of our local community the third Tuesday of each month. LCOS accepts donations throughout the year.

Knit-Chat Stitching Group:  This is an invitation to any knitters or crocheters to join us on Thursdays at 10:00 am  in the Fireside Room. Everyone is welcome.
