Lutheran Hospital Ministries Fall Training:  Do you want to learn skills that will help you visit or assist you in caregiving?  Lutheran Hospital Ministries Fall Training Session will take place over 3 Saturdays; October 25th, November 1st and November 8th.  Please contact Rev. Mark Rekken at 587-228-2597 or the office at 403-264-4045 to find out more information or to attend the sessions.

Annual Altar Care Meeting:  Everyone is welcome to attend the Annual Altar Care Meeting on Tuesday, October 28 at 7:00 pm in the Fireside Room. Snacks will be provided. Contact Karen Smith or Marg Hall for details.

Acadia Food Pantry:  Non-perishable food items continue to be accepted monthly at LCOS, and delivered to McDougall United Church for distribution to families in need in the Acadia area.

Games Group:  Everyone is welcome to join us the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month for games, snacks & fellowship. Contact Eleanor Wilson or the church office for details.

Kids Church:  Children of all ages are welcome to join our Kids Church each Sunday morning following worship! If anyone would like to donate snacks please let Judy know.

Youth Group:  Our youth are meeting every second Thursday at 5:30 pm to enjoy dinner, followed by a study of the book of Hebrews. Contact Kari Paul, Isaria Kwayu or office2@oursaviourchurch.ca for details.

Knit-Chat:  Crocheters and knitters, both experienced and new to these crafts, are invited to join in each Thursday morning at 10:00 in the fireside room. Contact the church office for details.

Ushers:  Volunteers are needed on Sunday mornings to welcome attendees, hand out bulletins, collect the offering during worship, and guide individuals to the altar during Holy Communion. Contact Kathy Gibson for information.

Dishes:  There are some dishes in the kitchen that have not found their way home after food was donated. If you are missing any plates, etc. please check the kitchen counter by the windows.

Prayer List:  Please take a moment to review the prayer list in this bulletin and advise the office if any names should be added or removed.

Feed the Hungry:  Our Feed the Hungry program continues on the 3rd Friday afternoon of each month at the Chinook Transit Station. Donations of food (packaged cookies, drinks, granola bars, fruit) and clothing (blankets, socks, mittens, footwear, coats, sweaters, hats, scarves) are accepted throughout the month on Sunday mornings and during office hours on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Please contact Judy for details. A sign sheet is located in the Place of Welcome for those who wish to volunteer to bring food and/or serve. Volunteers meet at the church at 3:30 pm.
