This morning we are pleased to celebrate the baptism of Quinn Easton Warren, son of Megan & Mike Warren, and grandson of Kari & Alan Paul. All are welcome to join us for cake following worship.

Last call...Be part of the LCOS tradition of trimming our Giving Tree. New clothing such as mittens, scarves, hats, pajamas, socks, children’s footwear, as well blankets, children’s toys & books, stocking stuffers and new Christmas decorations may be dropped off at church on Sunday mornings or during office hours.  This year we will again be working closely with McDougall United Church and Christ Moravian Church to help ensure families in our local community are able to enjoy a wonderful Christmas. If you prefer to have your donations directed to a specific charity, such as The Calgary Pregnancy Centre, The Brenda Strafford Centre, The Children’s Cottage, or another charity of your choice, simply let us know or attach a note to your donation. Kindly contact Judy with questions or if you would like to volunteer some of your time. Donations will be distributed during the week of December 15.

We continue to accept food donations for the Acadia Food Pantry at LCOS throughout each month. On the third Tuesday of the month food is distributed at McDougall United Church to families in need in our local community. Any questions can be directed to Judy.  Thank you!

Our final Feed the Hungry of 2025 is planned for Friday, December 19. A sign-up sheet is available in the Place of Welcome for those who wish donate food, or their time.

Pastoral Care appointments with Pastor Lee during the week of December 15—19 can be made with Judy.

Enjoy an evening at LCOS of Christmas carols and their stories with Alex Mckay on Sunday, December 21 at 7:00 pm as he leads our annual Carols by Candlelight.

A sincere thank you to Cliff Blumhagen as he retires from his position of 24 years as LCOS Financial Secretary.

There have been 26 pledges received for 2026 in the amount of $111,680.

For 2025 there were 46 pledges in the amount of $162,160.
