Walking with Our Sisters (WWOS) is a commemorative art installation to honor the lives of Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women of Canada (MMIW). Through the creation of opportunities for broad-based dialogue, the installation acknowledges the grief that the women’s families continue to suffer, as well as raising awareness of the pervasiveness of violence against Indigenous women in Canadian society.
The Exhibit will be hosted by Mount Royal University at the Riddell Library and Learning Center from April 29, 2018 to May 13, 2018.
